New Delhi, Aug. 21 -- India has dispatched 32 tonnes of humanitarian assistance to Peru, reaffirming its commitment to supporting partners in the Global South.

The consignment includes 2.5 lakh units of physiological saline solution, which will aid patients suffering from dehydration in the Latin American nation.

The Ministry of External Affairs said the initiative reflects India's focus on caring for each other as Global South partners and extending solidarity in times of need
