India Nordic Relations elevate to Green Technology and Innovation Strategic Partnership
New Delhi, June 3 -- India's relations with the five Nordic countries - Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Finland, and Denmark - have underwent a significant transformation since 2014 when Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India. A significant development occurred in during the 2018 visit of PM Modi to Sweden when the first Indo-Nordic Summit took place under the theme "India-Nordic Summit: Shared Values, Mutual Prosperity." Importantly, it was a rare occasion when five Nordic countries shared a common platform. The signal was clear. India was now ready to forge a strong partnership with Nordic countries.
