India & Rwanda agree to expand bilateral defence partnership during 2nd JDCC meeting in New Delhi
New Delhi, July 8 -- The second Joint Defence Cooperation Committee (JDCC) meeting between India and Rwanda took place in New Delhi on July 06 and 07, 2026. The two sides decided to expand partnership in the field of military training, military exercises, medical cooperation and defence industries. An implementation plan with timelines for the action items emanating from the meeting was also agreed to during the meeting.
The meeting was co-chaired by Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Government of India Amitabh Prasad and Chief for Joint Force Development, Training and Doctrine (Chief J7- RDF HQ) Brig Gen Louis Kanobayier.
