New Delhi, March 3 -- India and Canada announcing a wide-ranging set of agreements and strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation across trade, technology, energy, education, defence and cultural engagement.

A key outcome of the visit was the finalisation of the Terms of Reference (ToR) for launching negotiations on the India-Canada Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The ToR lays out the framework, modalities and frequency of negotiations for concluding an ambitious, balanced and mutually beneficial trade agreement covering goods, services and other agreed policy areas.
