India, Trinidad and Tobago Deepen Cooperation Across Education, Tourism, Health and Energy Sectors
New Delhi, May 11 -- The Ministry of External Affairs said External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar's visit to Trinidad and Tobago resulted in several significant outcomes aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation across education, tourism, health, ayurveda and energy sectors.
According to the MEA, the visit reinforced the strong and forward-looking partnership between the two countries, which are linked through historical ties, people-to-people connections and shared aspirations.
Key outcomes of the visit included the inauguration of a permanent National Prosthetic Centre in Penal, handing over of an agro-processing plant in Couva, and distribution of the first batch of "Made in India" laptops to schoolchildren under an earlier India...
