New Delhi, July 1 -- Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah today launched the FCRA 2.0 Portal and e-OCI Card in New Delhi. Union Home Secretary, Foreign Secretary, Director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and several other senior officials were present on the occasion.

Addressing the event, Amit Shah said both the new initiatives would significantly enhance citizen convenience and improve governance through technology. He said the upgraded FCRA portal would simplify compliance and address the difficulties faced by organisations receiving foreign contributions, while the e-OCI Card would make services easier for Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.
