New Delhi, March 10 -- Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar informed Parliament that the escalating conflict in West Asia, which began on February 28, 2026, has become a matter of serious concern for India. The conflict involves fighting between Israel and the United States on one side and Iran on the other, along with attacks on several Gulf states that have resulted in casualties, including among Iranian leadership, and destruction of infrastructure across the region.
