New Delhi, Oct. 17 -- The revision will be conducted in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.

According to the Commission, the revision aims to facilitate the enrolment of eligible voters, including those attaining the qualifying age of 18 years on January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1, 2027. The exercise will be undertaken under Section 21 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950.
