New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow today for wide-ranging talks covering bilateral cooperation and global developments.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed progress in trade, investment, energy, fertilizers, health, skilling & mobility, defence, and people-to-people exchanges. They discussed steps to expand bilateral trade in a more balanced and sustainable manner, including enhanced Indian exports in pharmaceuticals, agriculture and textiles, as well as assured fertilizer supplies. Skilled Indian workers in IT, engineering and construction were identified as contributors to Russia's labour market.
