New Delhi, June 5 -- The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has begun major overhauling work on selected escalators at seven stations on the Green Line as part of efforts to enhance passenger safety and ensure smoother movement within metro premises. The maintenance work covers escalators at Maharaja Surajmal Stadium, Peeragarhi, Udyog Nagar, Nangloi Railway Station, Rajdhani Park, Paschim Vihar West and Nangloi stations.

According to DMRC, the affected escalators include those connecting concourse and platform levels at several stations, while at Paschim Vihar West and Nangloi stations the work involves escalators linking the ground and concourse levels.
