New Delhi, April 15 -- The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is observing Fire Safety Week from April 14 to 20, 2026, with a focus on spreading awareness and encouraging people to adopt essential safety practices in their daily lives.

As part of the initiative, DMRC has advised citizens to remain attentive in kitchens, avoid electrical hazards, and respond promptly in case of gas leaks. It also emphasized the importance of keeping pathways clear to ensure smooth evacuation during emergencies.

Highlighting emergency preparedness, DMRC urged individuals to stay calm during fire incidents, move low under smoke, and evacuate safely while assisting others to reach designated assembly points.
