New Delhi, Dec. 12 -- A Delhi Court has granted interim bail to Umar Khalid in connection with the 2020 Delhi Riots case.

According to report in Live Law, a legal portal, Additional Sessions Judge Sameer Bajpai of Karkardooma Courts granted interim bail to Khalid commencing from December 16 to 29, on furnishing of personal bond of Rs.20.000 with two sureties of like amount.

The Court has restricted Khalid from reaching out to any witness or anyone connected with the proceedings. He must share his phone number with the investigating officer and keep the device active for the entire duration of the interim bail.
