New Delhi, May 8 -- The cyber police station team of Shahdara District Police has busted an inter-state cyber fraud syndicate involved in cheating people of nearly Rs.8 crore.

According to the Delhi police, 14 accused involved in the racket were arrested for allegedly duping people by offering fake part-time job opportunities through social media platforms.

The police team used technical tracing and conducted raids in multiple states to apprehend all members of the gang.

During the operation, police recovered 18 mobile phones, one laptop, two seals and several documents linked to mule bank accounts allegedly used in cyber fraud activities.
