New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- The Delhi Police has imposed a ban on the use of sub-conventional aerial platforms in the National Capital Territory from August 2 to August 16, 2025, citing potential threats to public safety, dignitaries, and critical installations ahead of Independence Day celebrations.

The prohibited items include para-gliders, para-motors, hang gliders, UAVs, UASS, microlight aircraft, remotely piloted aircraft, hot air balloons, small-sized powered aircraft, quadcopters, and para-jumping from aircraft.
