New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced a revision in passenger fares across all its corridors, effective from 25th August 2025. The new structure introduces a minimal increase ranging from Rs.1 to Rs.4 depending on the distance travelled, while fares on the Airport Express Line have also been revised with a hike of Rs.1 to Rs.5. According to DMRC, this adjustment has been necessitated by rising operational and maintenance costs and is aimed at ensuring that the metro system continues to provide safe, reliable, and efficient services to millions of daily commuters.
