New Delhi, April 10 -- Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh disbursed scholarships of Rs.1,000 each to 500 meritorious students of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, with the amount transferred directly into their bank accounts. The initiative reflects the corporation's commitment to promoting quality education and supporting the academic future of students.

On the occasion, a web application was also launched for 1,514 MCD schools. Through this platform, parents will be able to access information related to their children's academic progress, attendance, homework, and other educational activities from home, thereby strengthening transparency and participation in the education system.
