New Delhi, June 20 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu inaugurated a dedicated Women Police Station at Sabzi Mandi in the presence of Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golchha and senior police officers.

The Lieutenant Governor said the initiative is aimed at providing women with a secure and supportive environment to report grievances, seek justice and access assistance without fear. He also reviewed key women-safety initiatives of Delhi Police, including Pink Booths and the 'Sashakti' drive.

Sandhu directed Delhi Police to establish more such women police stations across the capital to strengthen women-friendly policing and improve responsiveness in law enforcement.
