New Delhi, April 29 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu attended the 102nd Foundation Day celebrations of Indraprastha College for Women, titled Samanvay 2026.

Addressing students, he referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision that the progress of humanity is incomplete without women's empowerment, and said it was inspiring to see students embracing an era of women-led, modern and knowledge-driven development.

He encouraged students to strive for meaningful impact in society, stating that education equips them to lead and that their confidence will help shape the path towards a Viksit Delhi and a Viksit Bharat.
