New Delhi, June 6 -- Delhi Transport Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh and Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa flagged off the Green SM electric taxi service at the Delhi Secretariat on World Environment Day.

The service, operated by Vietnamese mobility company VinFast through the Green SM app, has begun operations with 1,000 electric taxis across Delhi-NCR. The company aims to expand its fleet to 10,000 EV taxis in the region within the next year.
