New Delhi, April 16 -- The Directorate of Education Delhi has launched a major awareness initiative under the #ULLAS (Understanding of Lifelong Learning for All in Society) - New India Literacy Programme, aimed at achieving 100% literacy in the national capital by 2026-27.

As part of the campaign, the Director of Education flagged off 12 Awareness Rath (mobile outreach vans) to cover all districts of Delhi. These vehicles will spread awareness about adult literacy and encourage participation among individuals aged 15 years and above who have missed out on formal schooling.
