New Delhi, June 9 -- The Delhi government will organise a mega cleaning drive at major Yamuna ghats on June 14 as part of its ongoing efforts to restore the river's cleanliness and ecological health. The campaign aims to bring together citizens, youth, voluntary organisations and social institutions in a collective effort to rejuvenate the Yamuna.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the initiative is intended to strengthen the public movement for a clean and pristine Yamuna and called upon residents to actively participate in the campaign. According to the Chief Minister, more than 500 NGOs and thousands of volunteers are expected to join the drive across various ghats in the city.
