New Delhi, Nov. 10 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the Delhi government will launch its Winter Action Plan from November 15, under which 250 new temporary shelter homes are being set up across the capital. These will function in addition to the existing 197 permanent shelters.
The initiative aims to ensure that every needy person finds safe and dignified accommodation during the cold season. To guarantee smooth functioning, all shelters will be placed under 24-hour online monitoring, enabling real-time oversight of facilities and services.
