New Delhi, Dec. 15 -- The Delhi government has announced a series of measures to strengthen its fight against pollution, stating that there will be no shortage of resources, while negligence in implementation will not be tolerated, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said.
As part of the initiative, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has been provided with 70 Mechanical Road Sweeping (MRS) machines. In addition, 1,000-litre litter pickers are being deployed across Assembly constituencies, and super sucker machines are being installed in every ward.
