New Delhi, May 14 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged citizens to conserve petrol and diesel and turn energy conservation into a mass movement in view of the current global situation.

Responding to the Prime Minister's appeal, Rekha Gupta announced that the Delhi Government has decided to limit the number of vehicles used for official departmental work. She said that she, along with all Cabinet colleagues, BJP MLAs, public representatives, Delhi Government officials and departments, will use the minimum number of vehicles as per requirement and give priority to carpooling and public transport.
