New Delhi, July 3 -- The Delhi Government has initiated the process of constituting School Level Fee Regulation Committees (SLFRCs) in all private unaided schools under the Delhi School Education (Transparency in Fixation and Regulation of Fees) Act, 2025.

According to Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood, the committees will determine the fee structure for the academic sessions 2026-27 to 2028-29. The initiative aims to make the process of fee fixation more transparent, accountable, and participatory.

Under the new framework, schools will be required to ensure the participation and consent of parents before any fee increase is approved, promoting fairness and transparency in fee determination.
