New Delhi, May 11 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has approved a landmark Aftercare Scheme aimed at supporting young adults leaving institutional care, ensuring that orphaned children in Delhi continue to receive guidance and opportunities even after turning 18.

Announced on Mother's Day, the initiative reflects the Delhi Government's commitment to standing beside every child with care, dignity and long-term support.

The scheme focuses on higher education, skill development, employment assistance and monthly financial aid to help young adults build independent and secure futures.
