New Delhi, June 20 -- Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa met representatives of the Umeed Foundation at the Delhi Secretariat and discussed the Delhi Government's ongoing plantation drive aimed at promoting a greener and pollution-free environment.

Sirsa said the government has set a target of planting 70 lakh trees and saplings across the city this year. He appreciated the contribution of the foundation, noting that many of its volunteers belong to the younger generation and are actively involved in environmental initiatives.
