New Delhi, Sept. 24 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated an interstate bus service from ISBT Kashmere Gatem Delhi to Baraut (Uttar Pradesh) under the ongoing Seva Pakhwada celebrations.

The Delhi government announced that this new AC bus service, which revives a route that had been closed for several years, will be affordable, accessible, reliable, and inclusive-a step towards strengthening public transport facilities in the region. Alongside, modern PoS machines and the Chalo mobile app were also launched to enhance digital ticketing and commuter convenience.

In line with Delhi's pollution-control initiatives, electric buses are also being introduced in private schools to promote clean and sustainable mobility.
