New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today attended the Bhoomi Poojan Yagya organised by the Ramleela Committees of A-Block and B-Block in Shalimar Bagh.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that Lord Shri Ram's life teaches the values of truth, justice, and the defeat of evil forces, which form the foundation of Ram Rajya. She emphasised that Delhi too must overcome negative influences and systemic flaws to realise these ideals.
Gupta highlighted the inspirational roles of Lord Ram, Mata Sita, Lakshman, King Dashrath, and even Kaikeyi, each offering deep lessons for society. She described Ramleela as an annual celebration of faith and joy, calling for collective participation and discipline to make it even more grand.
