New Delhi, Feb. 16 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated a grand statue of Keshav Baliram Hedgewar at the Dr Hedgewar Arogya Sansthan premises in Shahdara on February 14.

Describing the occasion as historic and momentous, the Chief Minister noted that the ceremony holds special significance as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is celebrating its centenary year. She said that the seed of national awakening sown by Dr Hedgewar on Vijayadashami in 1925 has grown into a vast banyan tree dedicated to the service of the nation.
