New Delhi, May 7 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta flagged off 13 Mobile Heat Relief Units from the Delhi Secretariat to provide relief to people during the ongoing severe heatwave in the national capital.
According to the Chief Minister, the mobile units will provide cold and clean drinking water, distribute ORS packets, and offer first-aid facilities to residents affected by extreme heat conditions. Cotton scarves and caps will also be distributed to help people protect themselves from heatwave conditions and intense sunlight.
The Delhi Government has also released a Heat Action Plan booklet aimed at spreading awareness and guiding citizens on protection measures during extreme summer conditions.
