New Delhi, Aug. 5 -- The first day of the Monsoon Session of the Delhi Assembly began under the chairmanship of Speaker Vijender Gupta with the 'Rashtragan' (National Anthem). Addressing the House, Gupta paid homage to the 26 innocent civilians killed in the 22 April 2025 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. He condemned the incident as a manifestation of the "malicious mindset of organised terrorism" against the nation's unity, integrity, and public safety, extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
