New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- The Delhi Aerocity Metro station on the Airport Express Line is all set to become a major interchange hub of the Delhi Metro network as it is being expanded to provide additional connectivity to the Tughlakabad - Aerocity Golden Line corridor, being constructed as part of Phase 4.

Recently, approval has also been received for the extension of this corridor from Aerocity till Terminal 1 IGI Airport station (2.263 kms).

In the future, the station will also have the provision of being turned into a triple interchange, as the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) will have interchange facilities at Delhi Aerocity for its proposed corridor to Alwar.
