New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- As part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated switching sub-stations and EV charging stations at the Peeragarhi DTC bus depot . The newly launched facilities will have the capacity to charge over 1,000 electric buses daily, making Delhi's public transport system more energy-efficient and significantly reducing pollution and carbon emissions.
Gupta said the Seva Pakhwada is giving fresh momentum to Delhi's development. She announced that on September 30, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the Okhla Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), which will be Asia's largest. Alongside this, Delhi will receive 46 new projects worth over Rs.4,500 crore.
