New Delhi, March 21 -- Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has strongly criticised AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj over his recent "kafan protest" linked to the Palam fire tragedy, calling it a "dramatic display" aimed at gaining publicity rather than expressing genuine concern.

Sachdeva alleged that the protest-where Bharadwaj symbolically tied a kafan (shroud) on his head and carried a bier-was an attempt to stay in the headlines. He said local discussions in Palam suggest that large quantities of flammable material were stored on the ground floor of the building where the fire broke out, and questioned whether AAP acknowledges this aspect.
