New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- Heavy rains on Sunday led to waterlogging in parts of Janakpuri. Delhi Cabinet Minister Ashish Sood who represents the Janakpuri constituency, visited the affected areas, interacted with local residents, and directed officials to take immediate remedial measures. He assured that all possible relief would be provided to the residents and emphasized that preventive steps would be taken to avoid such issues in the future.

Responding to complaints about open drinking and loud music near a liquor shop, Sood instructed the local SHO to deploy police personnel at the site for the next 10 days.
