New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various Delhi Jal Board projects worth Rs.1816 crore in New Delhi today.
He said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, Delhi-once struggling with polluted and irregular water supply under the previous government-is now moving rapidly toward becoming a hub of clean and accessible water supply.
The projects include Sewage Treatment Plants, Booster Pumping Stations, Sewer Lines, and Household Sewer Connections, which will contribute to making the Yamuna cleaner and ensuring clean water for Delhi residents throughout the year.
