New Delhi, Feb. 24 -- The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (AIIMS), through its Centre of Excellence for Rare Diseases, hosted a multi-stakeholder workshop to mark Rare Disease Day 2026.

The workshop brought together medical experts, representatives from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), and patients to deliberate on improving diagnosis, implementation of the National Policy for Rare Diseases (NPRD), and the latest advancements in therapeutics.
