New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has alleged that MCD sanitation workers, teachers, and other government employees were forced to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally in Delhi on 17 August.
In a letter addressed to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, AAP MLA from Burari and Chief Whip (Opposition) Sanjeev Jha claimed that staff were threatened and coerced into joining the political event, which he termed as "illegal misuse of government employees."
