New Delhi, June 16 -- Addressing a press conference, Aam Aadmi Party Delhi in charge Saurabh Bhardwaj and former Model Town MLA Akhilesh Pati Tripathi attacked the BJP over the 'water crisis' in Delhi.
Saurabh Bhardwaj stated that despite being in power for four months, the BJP government has not installed a single new tubewell in Delhi. "Even with a so-called four-engine government, Delhi is facing an acute shortage of water. The situation is worsening by the day," he said.
The party also highlighted that residents in areas like Model Town are being forced to protest by breaking pots (matka phod andolans) due to lack of water. In areas where water is being supplied, AAP claims it is dirty and foul-smelling.
