New Delhi, July 23 -- Leader of Opposition in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and affiliated to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Ankush Narang, has accused the BJP of displaying its "anti-Dalit mindset" through alleged manipulation of the SC Committee's structure in the civic body.

According to Narang, elections for various MCD committees were scheduled recently, but Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh unilaterally halted the nomination process. He further alleged that the BJP amended the composition of the SC Committee, removing 14 members, thereby drastically reducing Scheduled Caste representation.
