New Delhi, Feb. 20 -- 25 new Atal Canteens were inaugurated across various areas of the national capital Delhi on November 19 in the presence of Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta
The Delhi Chief Minister also visited the Atal Canteen in Geeta Colony and had a meal there.
She highlighted that the previous government failed to operationalise the canteens over the past 11 years, with the project remaining limited to files. In contrast, the BJP-led government has opened 71 Atal Canteens within just one year, showcasing what was described as a strong "speed and scale" of governance.
