Nepal showed inconsistent performance at the T20 World Cup 2026 in Mumbai with flashes of brilliance, but ultimately snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

The near-win against England, a test cricket team by an associate country, in the opening game showed promise and suggested that Nepal's cricket was on the cusp of glory.
