Mumbai, Sept. 25 -- In an effort to boost its design and engineering capabilities, TVS Motor Company, a major manufacturer of two- and three-wheeled vehicles based in Chennai, has opened a new Global Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bologna, Italy.

As part of this new initiative, TVS has also acquired Engines Engineering S.p.A., an Italian company known for its expertise in high-performance motorcycle design, advanced prototyping, and MotoGP racing.
