Mumbai, Sept. 29 -- The Indian Navy and TVS Motor Company have flagged off the 'Fleet to Forts' motorcycle expedition from Kohli Stadium in Navynagar, Mumbai, to engage local communities and raise awareness of naval careers among youth.

The 14-day expedition covers more than 1,600 km across Maharashtra and visits 10 forts associated with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, including sites inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List under the Maratha Military Landscapes of India nomination.
