New Delhi, June 7 -- OpenAI has launched a new security feature for ChatGPT called Lockdown Mode, which is aimed at protecting the sensitive data of users from prompt injection attacks. The new feature limits ChatGPT's access to the web and external services in order to cut down the risk of data exfiltration.

"Lockdown Mode is not intended for everyone. It is designed for people and organisations that handle sensitive data and want stricter protection from data exfiltration risks related to prompt injection." OpenAI wrote on a support page.
