New Delhi, Sept. 4 -- Chipmaker Nvidia is acquiring artificial intelligence (AI) software platform Hugging Face for $12.9 billion, the company announced in a blog post on Thursday (local time), making it one of the biggest deals for the chipmaker in recent times.
In a blog post, Nvidia's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jensen Huang wrote, "More than 18 million developers, researchers, and creators use Hugging Face to share more than 3 million models, 500,000 datasets, and 1 million applications.
