New Delhi, Oct. 9 -- Erik Spoelstra, the celebrated head coach of the Miami Heat, has emerged as the top choice to succeed Steve Kerr as the head coach of the USA Basketball Men's National Team, according to ESPN sources.

Poised to lead Team USA in the 2027 World Cup and the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, Spoelstra's appointment will mark a significant moment for USA Basketball.
