New Delhi, April 2 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) warned of active Western disturbance impact over northwest India on 2 April. The day temperatures are likely to remain near normal to below normal over the region till 6 April.

Suggesting that the prevailing weather conditions will cause light to moderate precipitation over northwest India till 5 April with peak activity in the next two days, the weather department said, "Fresh wet spell with Scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall/snowfall with isolated thunderstorm, lightning & gusty winds (speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph) likely over Jammu Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh on 03rd & 04th & 07th April; Uttarakh...
