New Delhi, June 12 -- US equities rose on Friday on hopes for an end to the Middle East war, while SpaceX shares rallied over 29% in their debut.

At 12:15 p.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 385.41 points, or 0.76%, to 51,234.16, the S&P 500 gained 37.70 points, or 0.51%, to 7,432.00 and the Nasdaq Composite gained 71.59 points, or 0.27%, to 25,881.25.

In early trading, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was flat at 50,858.98. The broad-based S&P 500 slipped 0.2% to 7,380.09, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index dropped 0.3% to 25,724.16.
